Entering through the gates of Acquilus you really get a sense that you have arrived. Unloading under the porte-cochere to the elevator and before you know it you are at your vacation get away in this corner unit on 8th floor.

Immediately after entering you will see on your right the first guest room with bunk beds beds and a full en-suite bathroom. After leaving this room you see the living areas open up and the ocean in front of you.

Before the kitchen and living areas is the second guest room with a queen size bed, and private bathroom. In this room you are fortunate enough to have a second balcony overlooking Jacksonville Beach with access only from this guest room. This is the perfect spot for sunsets and midnight star gazing.

Out of the second guest bedroom you are led to the Kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a half bathroom which is your true guest bathroom. The deluxe kitchen is complete with top of the line appliances and granite counter tops this kitchen is easy to use and great for entertaining. The kitchen bar seats 4 comfortably to socialize before dinner or for taking in the view. The dining area seats eight with an added bonus of a north facing window. The corner aspect of this unit allows for more light and some of the best views in the building.

Past the dining area in to the living area you are greeted by a warm décor perfect for relaxing or entertaining, makes this a comfortable spot to watch a good movie or reflect on a sunrise.

Through the living area is the master bedroom, where you will find a king sized bed looking over the Atlantic ocean with a panoramic view with no rival. Into the master bathroom you will see the attention to detail to make this a very serene place. Double vanities, private commode, walk in shower and a whirlpool tub. Out the sliding glass doors from the master you are led to the same 400sq/ft balcony that is accessed from the living area.

On the balcony you have a table that seats six and other chairs for lounging. No matter the use, this is a location that is sure to create memories that will last forever.

Jacksonville Beach is a beach rich with history and full of activities for visitors of all ages. From the Acquilus building one can walk to shopping dining and various forms of entertainment. There are numerous playgrounds within a short drive and further out some of the best state parks in all of Florida. St Augustine is a short drive from Jacksonville Beach where there is a multitude of dining and shopping options along with all the tourists attractions St Augustine is famous for.
Closer to the building you will find a mix of fine dining restaurants, Mexican, pizza places, several seafood spots and some really good places for drinks.

There is a vibrant social scene in the heart of Jacksonville Beach with concerts in several of the local clubs and presentations and festivals on the city lawn several times a year. Ask what’s going on when you book and there is bound to be something. Whether it’s the blue angels at our annual Sea and Sky Spectacular or watching Jaws at the amphitheater, Jacksonville Beach is a happening place.

No matter what you do with your recreation time away from your rental home what really matters is the quality of accommodation when your “home”. This unit is a well kept and well appointed direct ocean front condo with all the amenities you would need to truly be at ease.

"Dealing with Lancelot's Castles, and especially Kevin, was a breeze. Great communication, timely responses, and on-time for check-in.
The unit was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Kitchen was complete and fully functional.
Garage was well stocked with wet suits, foam surfboards, a long board, boogie boards of all sizes, chairs, beach umbrella, fishing gear, etc, etc, etc.
We plan to come back!!!!!

A wonderful JAX beach getaway

"The management team was very helpful and responsive in accommodating our arrival and departure requests due to travel complications. The condo was a gated, secure, quiet community. The corner condo had stunning views of Jax Beach, was very spacious, had comfortable furniture and beds, and was well stocked for anything we might need – including coffee and filters. When we notified management for a couple small issues, they were quick to respond and remedy whatever they could like replacing a faulty toaster within hours. They also supplied us with anything we would need for the beach! So wonderful. Although filling out all the resort paperwork took time when scheduling, it was definitely a place we would love to return to and recommend to friends.

Stay at Lancelot's Ibis Condo in Jacksonville Beach, Florida

"The condo is on the 8th floor of the Acquilus I building. Check-in and out was very easy. Kevin from Lancelot met us at the agreed upon time of 4:00 pm, provided us with the necessary keys and instructions on entering and exiting the building, and walked us through the condo. It took only about 15 minutes to get all set. The condo is located on the northeast corner of the building and has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and beaches to the north and east. The condo was very clean and quiet. I think we heard a neighbor's door shut one time in the week we were there. The condo has its own garage that fits a full size car (rental definition of a full size - Toyota Camry). Access to the building through the security gates and doors is easy with the provided electronic key fob. The condo is nicely furnished and has all the appliances we needed during our stay. Grocery stores are located relatively close to the condo as are several decent restaurants. We had a wonderful relaxing week in Jacksonville Beach!

"We needed a spot for family to gather for Thanksgiving that allowed for easy walks on the beach. All ages appreciated the great location and layout of the condo. Good sized kitchen allowed for easy meal prep, we were happy refrigerator was large.
Also enjoyed having the large jacuzzi tub to soak in, master Bath was roomy.

"We have a group of 4 that does a little getaway each Fall. We've stayed at this location a couple of times before. This unit was the best ever. Appliances worked well, stocked well, had some basic cooking oils and spices....even coffee filters and some coffee! We loved it and are hoping to lock in next year soon as we hear from Kevin/Ashton.

"This is a wonderful spot! When we walked in the door, we immediately felt welcomed by the spacious and open floor plan. Everything we needed was there, and spotlessly clean. There is a wonderful, large balcony overlooking the ocean which is complete with a grill. The location is perfect, the beach is wide and flat—perfect for walking* or playing. The condo is a very short walk to the downtown area. The unit is in great shape, the rental managers are friendly, professional, and responsive. You won’t be sorry if you rent here!

"This could not have been a better place to celebrate my wifes 60th birthday with our family. Jax Beach was centrally located for all. The amenities in the condo were excellent(balcony gas grill-kitchen appliances-comfortable beds-beach toys-towels). The private garage was an awesome feature, especially for storing our personal beach gear at the end of the day instead of puttiing it back in the car or hauling it upstairs. Plus the ice machine down stairs was a bonus. The only amenities lacking was a shortage of toilet paper and kitchen garbage bags which usually have not been a issue at other VRBO rentals we have stayed at(but stores are close by). Great stay/great weekend and would absolutely stay there again!

"We spent 4 nights in this well-appointed, 8th floor condo in a very private building. Great location close to restaurants and shopping. Secure parking (2 spaces - private garage and designated outside space) made it very convenient to come and go. The unit was very clean and everything was was in good condition. If you have kids, they will love all of the beach toys stored in the garage... surf boards, kites, bicycles, buckets and shovels, etc. The furniture was very comfortable and so is the large corner balcony overlooking the ocean. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals.

"We had a great experience at The Ibis. Very quiet condo, huge open concept, fully supplied and thoughtful for a traveler. Kevin was super to work with.
The balcony is spacious, and the grill is an added bonus to hang out and cook oceanfront dinners! Best view in town!
No question we will rent this condo again.
The one minor downfall, the master bed has some age and not super comfy, but the view to the ocean made up for it!
Highly recommend Lancelot's Castles and working with Kevin!

"Even though my family had spent vacation time at Lancelot castles many times in the past, this time was exceptional. In the midst of the pandemic and the pressures of daily existence, we found a dreamlike existence that was a priceless opportunity. Everything needed or desired was there in abundance. The comfort, convenience, security and location exceeded all expectations and dreams of the perfect vacation. My only regret not staying longer. I plan to return again and often.

"Had a great Easter vacation at the beach. The Ibis unit was beautiful. The ocean view was amazing. The lanai was gorgeous-plenty of room for family dinners on the oceanfront. The gas grill was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. Kevin & everyone from the management company were terrific as always. I will definitely be back!
